Philadelphia’s Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is offering endurance racing fans in the Northeast an exciting alternative for thise who cannot attend this year’s Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida.
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the museum will host “Once Around the Clock: The Simeone 12 Hours of Sebring,” a full-day, 12-hour celebration that runs in parallel with the actual race at Sebring International Raceway.
The event traces the history and legacy of the iconic 12 Hours of Sebring, one of America’s toughest and most storied endurance races.
Visitots will experience the arc of Sebring’s evolution through live demonstrations of 24 historic racing sports cars. Seven themed programs will run every two hours, showcasing machines from key eras.
They wii include early surprises like the 1950 Crosley victory, the inaugural 12-hour format in 1952, breakthroughs by Briggs Cunningham in 1953, Detroit muscle versus European finesse, fierce Jaguar-Ferrari battles, the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe period, and a closing parade of champions.
Every car on the schedule will be demonstrated live on the museum’s tarmac, paired with historical context, film, photography, and commentary.
Additional highlights include live check-ins from the real Sebring race with commentator Harry Hurst, interviews with legendary drivers such as Bobby Rahal and Brian Redman, conversations with past Sebring competitors, and more.
The live broadcast of the 2026 Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring will be shown on ten screens throughout the museum.
Food and drinks will be available on site, making it easy to settle in for the full day. One ticket grants access to the entire event.
Admission is $20 for ages 12 and up, with children 11 and under admitted free.
